Dr. Kyle Kingsley, Executive Chairman

Kyle Kingsley, M.D., is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Goodness Growth Holdings. Dr. Kingsley is a former emergency medicine physician and oversaw the implementation of the Vireo Health System in Minnesota and New York with the construction of state-of-the-art greenhouse facilities, twelve medical cannabis dispensaries, and the Company’s pharmaceutical and patient care center models. Dr. Kingsley is co-author of the book Medical Cannabis Primer for Healthcare Providers, written to elucidate objective medical cannabis knowledge in the medical community. Dr. Kingsley’s solitary goal is to make Vireo Health the safest, most reliable, and compassionate choice for the patients in all of the States in which the Company operates.

Chelsea Grayson, Independent Director

Chelsea A. Grayson is a board member of Sugarfina, Inc., a member of the UCLA Board of Visitors for the English Department and a Board Leadership Fellow and a Corporate Governance Fellow with the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). She was previously the CEO and a board member of True Religion, Inc. (formerly NASDAQ: TRLG), where she chaired the Audit Committee. Prior to taking the CEO role with True Religion, she was the CEO and a board member of American Apparel (formerly NYSE MKT: APP).

Ross Hussey, Independent Director

Ross Hussey has served on Vireo’s board of directors since July 2020. He is an attorney with 14 years of experience practicing in multiple states and jurisdictions. He is a founding member of Vireo Health where he helped create and launch Minnesota Medical Solutions, LLC. Mr. Hussey previously served as General Counsel for Minnesota Medical Solutions before returning to private practice where he has focused primarily on complex litigation and representing private businesses. He also has prior government relations experience and was involved in the implementation of the medical cannabis program in Minnesota. Mr. Hussey holds a B.A. in political science from Gustavus Adolphus College and received a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law.

Victor E. Mancebo, Independent Director

Victor E. Mancebo has served on Vireo’s board of directors since January 2021. Victor also currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of TheraTrue Inc., a minority owned medical cannabis production company with license applications pending in the states of Georgia and Virginia. He previously served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Health Sciences, Inc., a profitable vertically integrated cannabis company with 29 dispensaries and a 250,000 SQFT. production facility housed in 387 acres in Florida, which has served over 100,000 patients to date. He has nearly 20 years of experience in a variety of operational, retail, and agricultural leadership roles and is a graduate of Florida International University. Mr. Mancebo also holds a Master Black Belt in Six Sigma.

Judd Nordquist, Independent Director

Judd Nordquist has served on Vireo’s board of directors since March 2019. As a Business Partner at Abdo, Eick & Meyers, LLP, Judd helps business owners with business and tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, cash flow management, budgeting, and overhead computations. Since 1995, Judd has specialized in providing accounting, auditing, and consulting services to the construction, real estate, and manufacturing industries.

Josh Rosen, Interim CEO

Mr. Rosen began serving as Interim President of Goodness Growth in December 2022, and was promoted to Interim CEO in February 2023. He has been a member of the Company’s board of directors since August 2021. From December 2020 to present, Mr. Rosen has served as a Managing Partner of Bengal Capital, a cannabis investment and advisory firm. Through May of 2021, Mr. Rosen was a director of 4Front Ventures Corporation (“4Front”, CSE: FFNT); Mr. Rosen was previously Executive Chairman and CEO of 4Front and its predecessor companies, having co-founded 4Front in 2011. Mr. Rosen has held positions at Credit Suisse (NYSE: CS) and ABN AMRO Bank N.V. (OTCMKTS:AAVMY) and is on the Board of Managers of Ninety Plus Coffee, LLC.  Mr. Rosen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from Beloit College.

Amber Shimpa, President

Amber Shimpa serves as President of Goodness Growth Holdings and has been with the Company since 2014. After initially serving as the Company’s CFO, Amber was named Chief Administrative Officer in 2019, before being promoted to Company President in 2023. She also serves as CEO of subsidiary Vireo Health of Minnesota, and spearheads Vireo’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and Diversity and Inclusion programs. She is a member of the Nominating and Governance Committee.
